Dating back to 2005 when its first EP "Sepher Yog Sothoth" was released, Esquife is the black metal offspring of Rafael Mordente, a restless musician and comedian from Brazil known for his lead role in the UDR and Garotão Bronzeado acts. Esquife now resumes its journey with the release of “Tropikvlt”, an album that brings Mordente’s signature brand of sardonic humor blended together with true metalhead riffs and blistering vocals.
